Default Queensland Australia Electrical Exclusion Zones| Close Approach Rules

I also believe that equipment can operate above the wires providing the necessary safety procedures and exclusion zones are observed. In Brisbane Metro Energex will visit the site and also clear vegetation to exclusion zones distances, also they can issue you a "safety permit" for those tricky tree jobs, they come out on site and write out an agreement for working there and what you need to do.

Take no chances with electricity.

If in doubt, ring the power company, Energex is the company in Brisbane.
