Hi, I am studying arboriculture at Canberra Instute of Tech. and have just started into an assignment, one thing that has me stumped is a question that I have to answer, "name of industrial award that arboriculture workers come under" I've googled it to half to death but cannot seem to find an award anywhere for us, or even find out what other awards may apply to our industry. I am hoping someone out there can point me in the right direction here, thanks in advance. Graeme |

Thanks Ekka, that's what I've been finding, nothing!, I'll ask at tech. on Thur. what they want for this question. Thanks for the quick reply. Graeme |

I would say it's generic questioning , likely transferred from similar industries or courses. Many do pay via hort or landscape awards but in reality there's nothing specific, some bargaining agreements around though. Some times work places determine awards too, here the electrical workers award will cover tree trimmers whilst they do their job for utilities companies etc. So it can be localized award conditions by employer.
