Hi, I live in Brisbane's western suburbs and am confused over the regulations on tree removal! We would greatly appreciate some advice on whether we can remove a big gum tree in our front yard (close to the footpath), which (in a storm) may fall on kids in our front yard, our house or over the street. From my research, I can't find if it is protected or whatever! It certainly looks like a healthy tree (about 50 cm in diameter) but then again, I'm no aborist! Help please! Thanks...Buggles

Ring your council, if it's BCC then they have a 24hr/7 day a week service!
