Re: Soil subsidence and trees The trouble over here Ekka , some of the street trees here are over 200 years old, big old London Planes, root barriers won't work on them, so the only option is the chop, and that means even if a building has no signs of subsidence at all. Fair enough prehaps, I don't know the answer, sit and wait , only act when you're starring at 1'' wide cracks running down the wall!
