Can't really think of a negative to ISA membership....I suppose you could argue the fee is too high, I don't think it is.
The pros: Annual subscriptions to Arb journal and Arborist news, discounts on ISA conferences and training, discounts on books vids etc, a means by which you can present your professionalism to your clients.
OK I have thought of a negative; membership can create the impression in some people that they have achieved something, when they have actually only opened up the opportunity to achieve something more..whether they actually take up that opportunity is really up to them.
