Figure i'll have a say.Today i went to remove a dead ash for a co-worker.At chest height it was approx.26+in. in diameter,approx. 70' tall, about a 60' spread and 25+ feet from the secondaries overshadowing surrounding maples w/ elect.& phone lines one side half way to the drip edge,neighbors hedgerow on the other.neighbors hate eachother.Tree was clearly victem of lightning strike yrs.ago ,judging from the telltale bark strips blown off each side.2 live laterals otherwise dead as a doornail.long winded.Point is, I had a pole ,saddle n/spikes,clmb line ,100' 5/8 bull rope-when a co-worker asks for help for - a couple of hours-situation suspect-! Did not do tree today,but did recieve free breakfast. |
