 Survival Man & Man vs. Wild
Been watching SurvivalMan most of the afternoon on our cable tv Discovery Channel.
Tend to like the Enthusiastic voice of the guy in Man vs. Wild better, but both have cool tips.
Survival man carries his own small cameras with no crew, recording himself. He must work hard because he has to walk back to the cameras a lot of time.
The ex-British Special Forces guy with the accent on Man vs. Wild is followed by camera people who apparently offer him no aid. I have a feeling they are using a helicopter to drop guys below him, because ain't no way someone can carry cameras down some of the crevices that guy is going down.
Cool tip today was Survival man biting the end point off an Agave plant partially and yanking it and about a foot of fibers out of the big leaf. Said it could be used as needle and thread. Quite tough. He yanked on it to show the strength. Suture? Mend clothing? Whatever. |
