A guy from the Gold Coast invented an aluminium platform you stand in to work palms.
Similar to pole platforms used by telco's and power companies it basically gripped the trunk and you could stand in it and do ya job.
Too slow, first you have to get it up there, then get a ladder to climb in it, do ya thing then lower it a bit for the next bit of work.
Back then the guy called himself 4x4 Rubbish Removals with a 4wd 4.495t gvm Canter truck. I think he lived Benowa/Biggera Waters area. |
