Learn what the bed knife is and it's maintaince.
Keep sharp knives.
Lube daily the disc and feed roller bearings.
Keep clean air filters on hand.
Oil changes of course.
Make sure hydraulic oil is in good shape. It draws moisture and gets milky looking when bad.
Make sure no foreign objects get into the chipper.

Make sure it is firmly attached to your truck!

NEVER OPEN THE DISC COVER WHILE THE DISC IS TURNING!

NEVER REACH INTO THE INPUT CHUTE. PUSH THINGS THROUGH WITH OTHER LIMBS.
