The things you pointed out are partly the reason ive not used cranes on many "craneable" jobs. The time they diddle around and tell you all the stuff they cant do, mainly due to little or no tree experience, you could've just about done the job anyway. Yeah a bit longer, but the crane fee is in your pocket instead.
Ive only used em on dodgy part fallen onto target type trees. The real monsters that ive quoted that i thought
really needed a crane and priced accordingly i never get coz someone else will do it without it cheaper.
