I have a 50 or 60 foot large tree in my backyard with a hole at the base about 10 by 12 ins. and there is always wood , like sawdust falling down in this hole. I clean it out and the next time I look at it there is new shavings there. I saw black ants going in the hole and put ant dust all around . Now I don't see the ants in the hole but they still crawel up and down the tree. Is there anyway to kill the ants or I was wondering can I cement up the hole? I'm afraid they are weaking the tree and its going to fall over on my house.Any info would be helpful, Thanks, Jerry
