How is the water charged for there?
We are all on meters here and for the first few cubic metres per period it's only about ?1 a metre but after that it is priced at a higher level up to another set amount and then it goes to another higher level etc.
We never had a meter in England before we left (though they were implementing them for everyone slowly) and never bothered what we used, bit different here now though.
Made me laugh what you said about the school teacher hosing the drive down,
Bet she doesn't teach rural science, but can obviously afford the water bills.
Someone should tell one of the kids in the class that she's a water waster, get them to ask a few questions of her about it.
