i'm not totally knocking stihls, they by far make the best climbing saw, but for anything else i want the husky.

last week i had a snag split on me half way thru my back cut. it just missed me, but pinched my saw. bent my bar bent my handle bars, took me 5 minute to hack it out with my ax. the whole time it kept running. got it out straighted my handle bars with the ax, replaced the bar and kept going. not a problem since. all of the stihl guys in camp said there saws would have been in far worse shape ad not have finished the day let alone a shift.

the stilhs have less parts to them, so easier to fix and maintain (only because hey need more of it) but the huskies are proven to be much more durable stronger saws in the bush. even the stihl guys admit it.
