Re: Toxic trees?? Treerat, look up your local Poison Control center in the phone book... They will have all the info on poisonous plants/trees in your area. They will also have a listing of toxic plants available at stores.... after all they need to know how to diagnose and treat a wide range of poisons.
I remember a few years back here in Florida someone figured out that angels trumpet flowers make a Hallucinogenic tea, unfortunately it was also very easy to overdose and a bunch of kids wound up in the hospital. These trees were planted all over for their beautiful flowers, I guess the landscaper didn't have the foresight to look up the poison control center.
