people admire us everyday in their own way. doesnt really matter what they think anyway, its the competition that drives past and sees your pruning cuts or you in a tree and can appreciate the complexity and skill involved. theres plenty of people out there that think they can do what we do, all of which quickly realise were of a different breed and possess some pretty wicked skills and instincts. i see green guys all the time that try and suggest methods of attacking tree climbs to me while im in the tree and ASSUME its easy. it only becomes apparent when they have to do it for themselves.
so i dont know about you guys, but im comfortable with people undermining me. cos when it comes to the crunch and ive gotta clean up their mess, damn i look good in a harness!
