Post 29, that palm there. You are saying that it is not a Pheonix canariensis but another, I did some Googling and notice on the canariensis the butts (petioles) are not stacked on top of each other and are a little more compact.

This link is to a picture and you can clearly see the difference.

Are we sure about this or did you just have a "dud"?

Worth finding out, I'm curious, maybe Boa's got a PDF.
