$85,000

Thought I could set up a firewood operation there, (ITSA Firewood Service), dump my chip till its needed, store equipment, build a house, shop, etc...

How's this compare to your area?
Land here is cheap....If it is not right on lake Superior. My house is on the "poor side of the road" so it is worth about 80 grand or so. If my house was on the other side of the road "on the lake" it would probably run about 350 grand. I bought hunting property about 2 miles behind my house and it is 89.6 acres. I bought it 7 years ago for 350.00$ an acre. today i could probably get about $1500.00 to $2000.00 an acre for it. and that is pretty cheep compared to most places. I also use the property to dump chips and wood.
