Default Re: Replacing a 200T AV mount

Okay,

Well I got the mount replaced alright. Ended up taking off the pull-start assembly to give myself more room to get a tool around that washer. It's not like they couldn't make the thing a little thicker to give you something to really grab onto, but I managed to get it off anyway.

Took the saw over to the hose, washed out the inside really nicely... got back to the bench, put the new AV mount in, then realized that somewhere I lost the screw that attatches the handle to the AV mount.

(this is me cussing like a sailor)

Couldn't find it after 20 mins of looking, so now I've gotta get a replacement screw. Noticed that, yes, the AV mounts on my 011 would have fit the 200T, so at least I've got some spares there, but couldn't find a spare screw like I need for the 200T, on the 011..... damn!!!

Looks like I'll have to see if the two local dealers have a replacement screw, otherwise I'm gonna hit up Home Depot, match the thread and put anything in there that'll fit as a temporary cuz I need to hit this job TOMOROW.....

I'm sure somehow it'll work out.
