I tried to address this problem over on the "embedded pics" thread, but apparently noone took any notice.

In the instructions for embedding a pic, he left out a very important part of the IMG tag when he made it, and apparently noone's bothered to change it yet (still).

When you put in IMG tags, the first one looks like [IMG] but the closing tag needs to be a [/IMG]. In the instructions he left out the "/" in the closing tag, so now anyone who follows those instructions won't have embedded pics showing up, just little boxes with x's in them.
