Giving everything it's place may be the only thing i have got right so far. Here's a shot of my kit, packed up:
The hardcase the SRL is in has an O ring seal, got it for $20 surplus. The rope bags I picked up at a yard sale for $5. The big one has a matching small case that slides into a slot in front. I use that for my throwline kit.
The Black bag with my belt and saddle is for Oxygen bottles and a respirator. Got it for $3 at a Goodwill Store.
