Good on you!

Maybe for retrieval a slightly bigger line than throw line on the cambium saver case you get a little stuck.

Also to prevent it from falling to the ground a throw line perhaps on the climbing line as you pull the climbing line out.

Once the climbing line is gone the throw line is through the rings. Have you tried that, see if it binds too as the throw line will go around the branch.

Other option I suppose is pull the climbing line out of the big ring only leaving it set in the little ring with a knot.

Try and see I suppose.
