Well I plan to be on belay with a traditional rope as I climb with the gaffs and axes to place my DB SALA retractable stainless steel lifeline as shown in the photo at the top of the page.
Is this type of fall arrest system in used much in tree climbing? I used it on both the trees I have dropped so far, and it allows free movement in the tree while cutting limbs.
