Asplund were built here by Deveson Jahn in Cabramatta, Sydney. I had 2 with 330 ci bedford Diesel Engines and 1 with International 262 petrol (Gas) engine. Later models were fitted with 380 ci Ford diesel.

Blade adjustment is by socket head bolts under each blade. Bedknife or anvil is seldom touched.
Correct sharpening is critical to good operation and branch pull in and bed gap to have fine chip, .030"
Therse machines are great, with only one major moving part, no hydraulic pumps or motors or moving rollers.
I wish I still had one!
