Default Re: Rotting Silver maple.

Here's a few pictures of my home to prove I am not an Arborphobe (I swear, I don't think a tree is going to fall on me). 80' Oak, 70' Tuliptree, rr 70' Oak. When Treeseer returns from signing autographs maybe he will take this into consideration. Silver maples are great trees if there are NO targets anywhere.

I've also included an appropriate tree I put by my driveway. It is a weeping Redbud and I planted a purple leaf redbud behind it to grow over it and shade the exposed tops of the weeping limbs that can get sunscald. Could we plant a silver maple in here? One could easily pop up from a seed as they do this often and I would have no remorse cutting it off.
