so today one of the groundsman where i work decided to go nuts with the saw when he was limbing up some stuff i dropped andhe nicked my climbing line, right in the middle of my 200 ft longline of course

sparing you the details and the obsenaties i shouted at him from the tree, im in need of a new climbing line right now im using XTC fire line made by yale, its a 1/2" 13mm kern mantle,

ive been doing some looking around and i really dont see much difference in alot of the lines ive been looking at so perhaps you could help me out, what are the advantages and disadvantiges of the different styles, double braid, kern mantle, solid, 13 mm 11mm

i hear good things of the true blue and was thinking of taking it for a spin, any feed back would be great,
