Other than the advantages of less teeth and faster change overs you are saying the teeth actually last longer?
See, it seems in no time I fit new teeth and bam, they're blunt again. So these also last longer on the machine right?
I'm up for a set now, lets see, 8 teeth x $20 + bolts = $200 plus I drive around to Bridgestone tyres and break out their 1200nm hammer gun to rattle the bastids off!
At home I have a 13 cubic foot compressor with a 500nm rattle gun and it doesn't get them off. It's the most powerful rattle gun I can run that compressor. The compressor is the largest I can run before going to 3 phase.
Had I have known of this system at purchased point I would have insisted or purchased minus a wheel for my grinder.
Now I'm contemplating a change over next bearing/front end overhaul. |
