Default Re: John Deere lumberjack

I drove a Timberjack (Waratah in NZ) production thinning head - HTH 260 on a Hitachi 225 USR base for a year up north. I had a great offer to drive the machine, too good to refuse so drive it, i did. Kind of enjoyed it, well i did until i learnt to drive it anyway. Soon as i could operate it, it become mind numbingly boring, i would think about everything and anything else but what i was doing, it was that repetitive. Great job for old bones but not for me just yet!

Love the machinery and love to drool over the brand new packages out and about but ya can keep the day to day operation thanks!
