When we fired our line from the bigshot and pulled the climbing line up bits of the top was breaking up the ground crew were worried about it collapsing, whe i got up to the fork it had a crack which i could fit my leg in which went 10ft below the fork. The ground crew had to be very careful even when pulling the slack of the rope up. I had to tie up both split forks together before doing any cutting at all. Everything was slow and very cautious in each cut and movement we were also worried about how much of the root system was holding it up, but i knew we could do the job safely and professionally .When i first looked at it i had two different ways that it could of been done, but it all changed when i climbed up there
