Re: Cost of gas where you live In California the State has been pushing their people to run more fuel efficient cars and conserve as much fuel as possible. Drive those little doll cars and stay home if you don't need to drive, it's working, fuel consumption is down. However, since fewer gallons of fuel are being sold, less tax revenue is being collected. So now the State is looking at RAISING the fuel tax which is already almost $1.00 a gallon to make up the unforeseen shortfall.
By the way, why does diesel cost more even though it requires less processing than regular gas? |
