This is a good idea. Ever since the BC chipper accident in 2005, we've been talking about this. They tried adopting the mandatory bottom bump bar here, but the specifications were so specific as to give Vermeer a patent strangle hold. Hmm, wonder how they ended up talking to WorkSafeBC in the first place. Electronic tagging is used in lumber and food processing, can't see it costing that much extra either. A sensor unit and a simple aluminum tag in the gloves is all that's needed.
