Default So whadya get up to today.

It was stinking hot here today, must have cracked the old ton but the humidity was a killer. We got our thunderstorm in the afternoon with a little rain.

I pruned a couple of Jacs, slayed another palm, cut down a stinking filthy lightening struck cuban palm that was rotting, pruned a neighbours tree back to fenceline and ground a bunch of stumps.

Nothing to difficult and an interesting day except when I cut the rotten palm down it pissed all this stinking rotten water down me dacks. It was a gusher.

Then I did the back cut etc and it just sat there ... all sort of like collapsing so I give it a good shove and it fell flat ... yep, flat as a tack like a wet cardboard roll.

The customers was very surprised to see what happened and now understood the issues with dead palms. Unlike wood they go to jelly.
