This one is more common sense than anything else but since i have done work for a few different companies it appears not to be all that common!!!
Have at least three sharpened spare chains for all your saws, and spare clutch springs, spark plugs, starter cords, spare bar.
Set aside part of one day every week for gear maintenance, and make sure it gets done
every week log the work.
Make sure you have blood stoppers in the first aid kit (
Blood Stopper Trauma Dressing) they don't always come as standard but are brilliant for those messy annoting unplanned events!!!! Some guys are organised enough to have one on their harness.
