ive got it setup like that so if it gets chocked off around the branch it will loosen it then pull it out, ive got heat shrink with glue around the whipping on my rope so it gets jammed on it and pulls it out of the tree, much prefer it over lanyard rope guide.

it has also got a whip lock on the end of the rope then heat shrink and glue so even if it did loosen off while i was climbing its not going to be able to come off the end anyway.
