Re: One Handed Chainsawing This is an in interesting post, I too one hand with my 200t, even blind cutting while free climbing, hanging out on a limb by my knees (sometimes you do what you gotta do.)
This reminds me of a story my grandfather told me of his adventures boar hunting while in S. America (I have a lot of stories.) He would sit atop a branch with a club while porters would drive a pack of wild boar down a path that led beneath his perch. At the right moment he would swing down by his knees upside down and strike his trophy between the eyes. I guess he could have used a big gun and shot it from a long distance, but what type of challenge is that, and besides, what type of inspiration would it have been to a young lad that was show he can do anything he desires if he puts his mind to the task.
Life is full of risks, I know some of you smoke cigarettes, or are overweight, etc... you know how many standards you violate doing that?
Anyway when I go boar hunting, swinging by my knees upside down from a tree limb, I'll have my trusty 200t instead of a club. However I might need to one hand it though if thats alright. |
