What??? Have you ever been in a plane? Look at the wheels on your truck/car. Look under the cylinder heads and you're likelly to find an aluminum block. Grab hold of the barley pop and study the can. Aluminum has an incredible history of working in tough conditions.
I think that your fear of aluminum is unfounded.
