Hi! Regarding paperback and 2 ply, most of our printed products are done in the 2 ply because they are more sturdy and people usually like the wood on both sides. (Also to note, the wood can be written on very easily with a pen if needed.) The paperback is mostly used in the sheet sizes for people that may be using for crafts and gluing onto things or they may be running them through their own ink jet or laser printer. However, if anyone would prefer to use a paperback, we can put a thick paper backing on them so they are more stiff to hold up better for business cards.
We can take pretty large e-mail files, but if your file is not going through.... do you have the capability to "stuff it" or "zip it"? If this does not work, we may need to resort with sending it on a disc. Unfortunately, we do not have a special site to send artwork to besides our company e-mail which is
tara@cardsofwood.com.
Regarding shipping internationally, we have not had any problems with the cards being confiscated before. We do document them as wood business cards, and there may be a customs charge... and perhaps will be held up at customs to be checked, but really for the business cards we have not had any major problems or hold ups. We have shipped postcards, wedding invitations, clothing tags, etc. with no problems..... so, this is good news!
Thank you!
