Did anyone ever get any guff for having someone from the States send them a saw??

I just got a pal to send me a 260 (paid about US$650 landed instead of $1250 off the shelf) and someone threatened to shop him to Stihl because apparently dealers rules its all supposed to be face to face sales!!

What a loada of crapola!!!
