Thanks Mike. I'm sorry to say I'm not sure what hickory that was. It may be a red. White is not listed as native to GA and I'm quite sure it's a native.

I will foot lock to 30 or so feet but this was about 70'. I worked the first leader from the top down to 30', then removed a 5 inch diameter crossed and rubbing limb between the two leaders, and then worked the second leader from the bottom up. I was able to get my Bandit 250 into the back yard and chipped the brush in a pile. It was a nice afternoon with no one on the payroll and very low equipment usage.
