I have to agree in principle with treevet. I did everything short of the media thing when I was asked to look at the trees in my post. It was the appointed INSPECTOR who brought me into the mess.
The press thing is a bit weird in my part of Canada, we are considered "Nice People" throughout the world. The beauracrats involved thought we should do MORE public education. The local media are about as gutless as a hog hanging on the rail of a slaughter plant. Hell we have a law against doing that kind of work to an elm tree. WRITE THE JERKS A TICKET. |
