i have been buying loads of tree length wood since '73
in today's market its getting a lot harder to find wood
the diameter spec's are for good production & reasonable end produced product.smaller stuff better off done by hand.
i bought this set-up in 1986 brand new & have had very little trouble.
i think there is NO BIG SMOKE TO BE HAD.
the wood market here in new england is in turmoil.the last of the NH pulp mills is laying off people,and the one up the street from that just got tore down.the wood business just aint what it used to be.
