OK ...Here's the story.....being a collector i also have a large quantity of chains in my collection.
This #10 type made by Oregon, was used mailly in the 70's and was called a "cloth chain" in the textile industry.
With the decline in demand and the mills shutting down, the Oregon company stopped production in 1976 of this special utility chain.
