This beats taking the bus anyday!!! Hell yeah I'd ride this... But backed up with a few other pulleys perhaps. I think they mention in the film that there are two cables with the angle down for direction. Can't see if the cable is steel, but if it is, and it is anchored correctly, there's not much danger in that.

Maybe unicef can get some money to buy those children harnesses.
