A similar thing happened to me...
I was carrying a large saw with a 30 inch bar and tripped over something (still have no idea what it was - it wasn't my feet!
). I fell on the bar and cut my wrist in 5 places - 4 hrs hospital and the ritual. Now I cover the bar during transport at all times.
