Am I going in the right direction by running the saw empty after each use ??? I know the gas has a lot of ethenol in it now and that absorbs alot of water..... but is it true that the oil in the fuel breaks down after 14 days ??? |
i dont ever run mine empty--but in the winter--i set them in the basement--doesnt rot the bottom of the saw---and you dont have the temp swings--which is what helps "gum" fuel-----------dont know about motomix--i still have 5 gal of 2 cycle from when i used to sell chainsaws!! still smells good----this from a local oil co----
