This is my block splitter, I've had it for 30 years come March. Can't believe it. I got the [unbreakable handle] about 12 years ago for about the same price as a wood handle, I prefer wood but it's not bad, averaged about 10-12 ton a year since then. Over 20 ton before that, mostly box, ironbark & grey gum, not much of that left around here now. I used the rubber protector on my wood handle, it doesn't fit this one.
Your type of maul doesn't with our hardwood, but I like your welded on extra's.
