Default Re: my fire wood pile

Being in ctl Ohio, you should be getting dead ash from ash borer now or soon. Not one of my favorite woods (quick burn too, but easy split) but good underneath other stuff. What kind of add on furnace you got? I have a Clayton that is cooking right next to me right now. Used stoves for over 30 years and got this last year and could never go back with big firebox, hooked up to forced air to ducts and basement location and humidifier. I love it. Wondering why you don t have much unsplit stuff as mine will take an 11 inch by 28 inch and they last much longer than split stuff although I use plenty of splits too.

Maybe send a picture of furnace setup?
