Default Re: favorite brand of saws.

Stihl and Toyota loyal...

Try putting 420K miles on an original unrebuilt engine on a Chevy, ford, mitsubishi or isuzu.

my 028 and 011 are over 20 years old and are running strong with regular preventative maintenance. I'm actually TRYING to wear out the 028... I think I've almost got it shot. It's what I cut all the crappy stuff with.

The 011 I'm babying because it's got more power than my 200T. More torch it feels like, never see the 011 around anymore but I'll keep mine running as long as it'll gasp breath.

Bars/chains are interchangeable between the 361 and 028, and the 011 and w200T. Makes them versatile.

Been given 4 Poulans now, of all sizes. Which, has got to tell you something if people are giving them away but holding onto their Stihl's and Husky's.
