Ummmm, back to spurs, pads and such. I would like to remind those looking for new pads or spurs that what works for one person or even many people, may not work for you. For me, I love the simple, stiff, metal braced L pads. They come off the spur shank at a slight angle, cause me absolutely no pain and can wear them all day long. I tried the Cadillac pads, desperately wanted them to work, but the top edge dug into my leg something fierce. Absolutely could not use them. Go figure.
