Almost every Certification bashing thread and tree abuse post at AS ends with the basher looking the fool, thanks to Guy and several other members. As a moderator there I feel I show quite a bit of pro certification bias just by my signature showing that I'm an ISA Certified Arborist. One of my goals is to provide a level playing field for the discussion of arboriculture. I'm trying to avoid the almost unavoidable appearance of using my moderator status as a 'hammer' to win a discussion.
On another related subject:
I contacted Len Phillips via email some time ago about posting notices at AS about the online CEU program that he runs and that I would offer him some degree of protection from harassment ...............so far...no love! ....or even a returned email. Those that know me know this is where I may delve into sarcastic comments......but I'm learning to exercise restraint! .
