I'm cleaning my gear twice a week whenever I get the chance so it is always in top condition . Safety and professionalism begins with well maintained gear machinery and tools. Safety gear maintanance and care is imperative. If you disrespect it, it will fail you when you need it the most... When I train guys, I show them how their van or truck must look like, instead of throwing it on a heap somewhere in the garage or truck. Investing in proper racks and boxes is the same as investing in life...
Most of the time people think my gear is new... It's only well cared for and looked after, and I'm really not hesitating to kick someone in the nuts for throwing my gear around.
Imagine what a HO must think when you first have to service your saw for an hour before it will start? I am still waiting on the first time that a machine from stihl doesn't start orrun properly on a jobsite...but everything fails when you don't service it...
and yeah, it rotates 360 degrees...Vandaele is the best brand for chippers around here...
